Schooling

3 week minimum period- should the horse be in full work. Those who are needing to be bought back into work are recommended 2 weeks of initial fitness building in order to ensure we are able to get the best out of them whilst they are working with us.

Offering a balanced and comprehensive approach to schooling, Meraki Equine can work with seasoned pros to those who may need some direction. With a diverse background in training horses, we are open to keeping your horse ticking over, ironing out niggles, and working through issues that may be difficult to come unstuck.

We are open to working with problem horses, with sound knowledge and expertise we are happy to assist. Depending on the issue at hand, problem horse schooling is priced at $520 per week (+GST).Facilities include a 60 x 30m all weather arena and vast farmland comprised of large rolling hills- great for fitness, hacking and building confidence.

Horses need diversity in their work with a balanced and comprehensive approach to working life. They require clear pathways, the ability to build confidence through positive experiences, and positive reinforcement.

Our aim is a happy horse. One that has a clear understanding of what they are being asked, and the opportunity to express themselves appropriately when they are confused. We should work with the horse, they should not work for us. Fair and consistent schooling, varied training and meaningful experiences are what I aim to deliver.
